A New Look and a New Feature: Multi-Site for Apricot

If you’ve been keeping up with the Product Blog, you know that, on January 25, Social Solutions’ Apricot software will receive an eye-pleasing UI update! Here’s the link to our previous post regarding the upcoming interface uplift. This new look features a streamlined, modern Navigation Bar and Sidebar Menu to give Apricot the modern look and feel that you’re going to love!

This is part of our ongoing effort to make Apricot more user-friendly than ever.  In our last update, we upgraded Apricot’s color scheme for greater on-screen contrast and readability. Searching for the relevant data you need to affect positive outcomes became quicker and easier. The streamlined look and feel of Apricot’s new Navigation and Sidebar menus now make Apricot easier to navigate as well! These updates and all the updates coming in the near future are part of a continued effort to update Apricot’s look to match its 21st-century capabilities.

Multi-Site is Now Available to Apricot Core Customers

In the same January 24 release, Apricot Core will now include Multi-Site capabilities! Organizations can now view their programs by location to receive greater insight into each site’s performance. Apricot Core users gain the capability to group programs by any number of sites! Apricot has the power to grow even further with you and your organization with the launch of this powerful new tool.


What Does Multi-Site Mean for Your Nonprofit?

  • Sites can track location, description, and site contact (including name and email address)
  • Programs can be moved from one site to another
  • Programs can be copied from one site to another
  • Users can report on one or several sites with Apricot’s flexible reporting capabilities
  • Users can continue to report on a program name
  • Site and program search menus will be able to be sorted by site name

These capabilities will allow your organization to compare how a program is performing across different sites. This information can give your organization insight on which sites are excelling and should be emulated, or which sites may need further assistance. From there, your organization could pair high-performing and low-performing sites together to learn from each other.

So how do you get started with Multi-Site on Apricot Core? This update will occur automatically on the evening of January 24th, so your organization can start using these new features as soon as they are available. Throughout 2019, we’ll be adding additional features and functionality to Apricot’s UI and our Multi-Site feature, so stay tuned!
