Collaborative Social Services

Community-Based, Comprehensive Services
Participants and families benefit most when they are served by a collaborative social network of comprehensive services.  The collaborative network can provide a far broader range of services than any one organization all by itself.  In addition, family members with a variety of needs can have their needs more effectively addressed through the specialized services of multiple organizations vs. one.  Funders and foundations such as Annie E. Casey Foundation, Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation all employ this philosophy, and encourage the human and social services organizations that they fund to follow a collaborative approach to human services as well.

Collaborative Social Services Software
Social Solutions’ Efforts to Outcomes (ETO™) software helps organizations to quickly and easily track efforts, outcomes, and progress as part of a collaborative performance management approach to human and social services.  Using this referral software helps organizations work together to most effectively meet participant and family needs. Its success in the Harlem Children’s Zone® makes ETO software ideal for such community-based, competitive grant programs as Promise Neighborhoods, Choice Neighborhoods, and Beacon Communities.

With ETO software, you can:
  Relate your service delivery efforts with their desired outcomes
  Monitor the effectiveness of your efforts
  Understand where you’re having the greatest impact
  Adjust your service model
  Identify, replicate, and share, best practices
  Report successes in minutes, not days or weeks
  Attract more funding

With ETO You Can

  • On the home page, in the middle press release, we can probably spell out Social Solutions (instead of abbreviating as SSI).  I didn’t realize we had a little more room there.
  • On the customer case studies page, we have an empty callout area on the right hand side.  We should put something in there or remove the callout altogether.
  • The Collaborative Social Services page mentions the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  We need to take that one out.  (We’re not allowed to mention them by name.)
  • On the performance management page, Applying  a logic model, on the RHS, runs right into the video testimonial.  We need a separator between these two different concepts.  Otherwise, they appear to be related, which they’re not.  Additionally, we probably have too much on the RHS and should probably get rid of something.
