In 2021, Social Solutions delivered some amazing new features and functionalities! For starters, Penelope joined Social Solutions in the first half of the year. Then, we delivered impactful new features like Rules and Alerts, Attendance Module, ETO Mobile, Penelope Central Email and Network Referrals, just to name a few!
In 2022, we’re not planning on slowing down. If anything, we’re ramping up the pace of innovation and growing as an organization. Not only are we continuing to focus on improving our leading Case Management platform – but now, combined with EveryAction, CyberGrants, and Network for Good, we’re providing tools for the entire social good ecosystem.
In the roadmap update below, we’re sharing what’s on our Case Management product roadmap for the first half of 2022. Centered around three key themes of Community Network, Data & Insights, and Connected Impact, we’re excited to continue to deliver new features and updates to support your daily workflows and help you serve more people.

Social Solutions and our new teammates, including EveryAction, have multiple ways to share data and are building plans to bring them even closer together. When will Closed-Loop Referrals be available in additional areas / cities? Will it be available for ETO as well?
Yes! We will be bringing Closed-Loop Referrals to additional cities and eventually to ETO. We are actively evaluating additional areas and cities for Apricot. Please reach out to your CSM or Account Manager if you are interested. You can also pre-register for the network here.

Will Connect updates be available for ETO users?
The Connect updates demoed are for Apricot.
Is there a mobile option for ETO?
Will inventory management expand to food pantry use?
While the first wave of inventory management will focus on managing beds, we do anticipate this laying the groundwork for additional types of resource management in the future.
How customizable will the Program Enrollments and Service Plans features be?
The initial release of program enrollments and exits will have standard fields for date and exit reasons. We will also include a general notes field for additional information to be tracked as part of these activities. Service plans are meant to function as a general template of the required milestones of a program. Plans are customizable and will support unique steps/milestones for individual participants’ needs.
Will the Results Reporting upgrade be available to Apricot Core?
Results Reporting is only available for Apricot 360. We are not currently planning to bring Results Reporting to Apricot Core.
Any idea on the timing of date-based rules and alerts? This will be a game changer!
We’re glad you agree! Our engineers are just starting the work, so we don’t have a date yet. Keep an eye out for updates in the coming months.
When will integrated reporting be available on Penelope?
We have heard the request for improved reporting in Penelope, and we are continuing discovery into how to make this possible. There are no updates at this time, but we will make sure all Penelope clients are kept up to date on any progress.
I’m interested to learn more about upgrades to NDIS billing. Can you tell me more?
We currently support the bulk-payment-upload exports for NDIS in Penelope! If you have any ideas to make this process work better for you, please submit through our ideas portal.
Will there be a training for Results Reporting upgrade in ETO?
Yes, we will have training available for our upgraded ETO Results. We will be communicating additional details closer to our release date.
When will Penelope Mobile be available in New Zealand?
We’re currently ironing out details for release of Penelope Mobile. We’ll be sending communications out as we release Penelope Mobile, so stay tuned for updates!
What will be included in the ETO results upgrade? Is that going to be more in-depth report features?
We are upgrading ETO Results to Business Objects version 4.3 SP1. This update brings a new UI and some additional features such as SFTP. You can find more detailed information on the new version of Business Objects in our release notes at this link.
Which of these new features will be available to Apricot Essentials?
While Essential customers do not have access to all of the features Apricot offers, to ensure they continue to have the essential functionality needed for successful case management, we will include Network Referrals, Program Enrollments, and some elements of our Blueprint technology.
When will the standard demographics be updated? Specifically, gender.
We have heard the request for updates to the Standard Demographics in ETO, specifically the gender field. We would like to update this field beyond a binary; however, we are still heavily in discovery to make sure we have a strong understanding of the technical needs of migrating historical gender data to new fields, as well as ensuring that the new gender options that would be available will be inclusive and representative of the entire gender spectrum. What is going to happen to legacy POS and Assessment data in ETO when Internet Explorer is discontinued in June 2022? Will the data still be accessible, or do we need to migrate it?
Data will still be accessible. At the same time, we encourage clients to migrate to Touchpoints to ensure the best long-term experience.
