Find answers to some frequently asked questions that came up during the webinar.
Question: Is Rules & Alerts available for ETO as well as Apricot?
Answer: Rules & Alerts is specific to Apricot. However, Workflows/Alerts is available in ETO, which offers very similar functionality.
Question: What’s the expected timeline for the Penelope interface update?
Answer: We do not currently have a timeline for the Penelope interface update. But we will be sure to let you know as soon as we do.
Question: Is Attendance Tracker only available for Apricot?
Answer: We are currently in discovery for Attendance tracker in ETO. We don’t have a date yet, but we will be sure to communicate plans as soon as possible. Attendance Tracker is currently live for Core & 360 and is accessible via “Classes & Terms” in the My Apricot side navigation.
Question: Will features typically be released across all products eventually?
Answer: It is almost always our goal to implement functionality in all our products. We launch new capabilities in one product first to test the approach then replicate it across all products. For instance, Schedule started in Apricot, SSO started in ETO and Billing started in Penelope.
Question: How many Apricot administrators can we have?
Answer: There is no limit on the number of administrator licenses for Core or 360. Of the ten licenses available for Apricot Essentials, a maximum of two can be administrators.
Question: Where are attendance notes kept?
Answer: Attendance notes are recorded and available for viewing within the Attendance Tracker. All Attendance data is available in reporting. We will be looking to add attendance data to the Doc Folder as well.
Question: We use Apricot for Funders. It looks like Social Solutions isn’t supporting that, and it is not part of the future in the road map?
Answer: While we have ended active support for Apricot for Funders, we do not have plans to sunset the product at this time.
Question: How are you handling multilanguage instruments delivered in Connect? That is, do we need to create multiple versions of the same Touchpoint in ETO for multiple languages (which means multiple data points)?
Answer: Yes, at this time. We would like to add field overlays to ETO Intake. This enables publishing the same Touchpoint in multiple languages. We are in active discovery but have not started development.
Question: Do participants need a connect account to access our availability?
Answer: Yes, caseworker availability is surfaced within Connect portals.
Question: Will Closed-Loop Referrals be available in Apricot Core? or only 360? What about ETO?
Answer: Closed-Loop Referrals will be available for all flavors of Apricot (Essentials, Core and 360)! It is planned but not yet in development for ETO.
Question: Will we be able to refer between Apricot and Penelope?
Answer: Yes, we are going to integrate referrals for all our products.
Question: Will it be possible to have Apricot integrate with Unite Us or similar software systems?
Answer: It is our goal to eliminate as much double data entry as possible. We are in active discussions with referral directories and networks.
Question: Is Results reporting only for Apricot 360?
Answer: For now, the Apricot Results Reporting is in our 360 bundle only.
