After days of great nonprofit insights, client stories, networking, strategies, learning sessions, and so much more, we’ve hit the closing day of Impact Summit 2018. Data and technology is critically intertwined with the future success of outcomes-driven nonprofits, so today’s extended sessions for our all-access attendees, including a keynote by Steve Ballmer, were focused on looking forward and doing more.
“Every child should have an opportunity to access the American Dream.” That’s what Steve Ballmer, co-founder of Ballmer Group and former CEO of Microsoft, says of his mission and vision. In his exciting keynote presentation, Ballmer described how helping children achieve more in education involves more than just school. The social services sector, local communities, and the government need to work together to focus on outcomes and drive real success. And in order to focus on outcomes, we need data.
Tools like Social Solutions’ are primed to help nonprofit organizations help children more effectively with data, which is part of why Ballmer has made an investment. “In many tough situations, I see software as part of the solution,” he says, so we are thrilled to be part of the conversation. We highly recommend checking out this insightful and energetic keynote! You can watch the recording here.
