As the Coronavirus continues to present challenges to people and communities around the world, many U.S. states are moving into phases 1, 2 and 3 of our nation’s reopening plan. And while things seem to be looking up regarding COVID-19, we know there’s still so much to be done. By now, many of you have made adjustments and have adapted in profound ways, but that doesn’t necessarily mean things have gotten easier, that challenges have been solved or that uncertainty is gone.
In fact, it seems that uncertainty is here to stay, and it’s affecting nonprofits and human services organizations across the entire spectrum of social good. To offer guidance amid uncertainty, we recently hosted a webinar entitled Essential Resources for Nonprofits to Navigate COVID-19.
Since we hosted this webinar just a few weeks ago, the level of crisis in our country has only grown. With the death of George Floyd and protests against racial injustice happening across America and the world, we are seeing a heightened sense of distress and uncertainty facing organizations on the front lines of human services and social change.
Our Essential Resources webinar was developed after having many conversations with social good leaders and across the Social Solutions team, and those conversations had a unifying theme of needing more to navigate uncertainty. Over the last several months, many of our clients and partners in the social good community began sharing resources with us and have asked us for insights to help them adapt and continue caring for their communities.
So, we put together a task force and got busy compiling a hub of important, actionable resources from a variety of sources that we know can help support you and your critical missions. Then, Annie Rhodes, Director of our Impact Partners Program, explored some of these resources and how they can bring value to you and your organization in a live webinar.
As the pandemic evolves and additional crises bring more uncertainty to our organizations across the social sector, we are committed to continuing to update our COVID-19 Resource Hub – and plan to expand on the scope of our resources. At Social Solutions, we are driven to help people help people, and we believe that one way we can do this is by offering insight, guidance and support during these challenging times with crises happening all around us.
Check out our Essential Resources for Nonprofits to Navigate COVID-19 on-demand webinar, where Annie makes resources relatable, offers actionable insights, and answers live questions about how to navigate this time of crisis. Then head over to our resource center and share it with your staff and peers.
Do you have a resource you see we’re missing? Send it our way so we can share it!
