Erin Mulligan Nelson Joins Social Solutions Global as CEO

Veteran CEO, CMO and CSR Executive Erin Mulligan Nelson to Lead Social Solutions Global’s Next Phase of Growth as CEO

AUSTIN, Texas, April 7, 2020 – Social Solutions Global, the leading provider of outcomes and data management software for human service organizations, today announced that Erin Mulligan Nelson has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Erin brings extensive leadership experience, with a track record of accelerating growth in technology companies, championing purpose-driven transformation initiatives, and leading corporate social responsibility and nonprofit funding efforts.

Erin comes to Social Solutions most recently from Calytera, a leading govtech platform provider, where she has served as CEO since 2017. Before joining Calytera, Erin was a three-time CMO, leading all facets of marketing and advancing CSR and corporate funding programs at SunPower, Bazaarvoice, and Dell, Inc. During her 11-year tenure with Dell, Erin led the company’s CSR practice and was deeply involved in corporate philanthropy efforts, and has carried her passion for business with purpose throughout her career. Erin has been recognized multiple times as one of the ‘50 Most Powerful Women in Technology’ by the National Diversity Council and was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Lifetime Hall of Achievement.

Erin takes over the CEO role from Kristin Nimsger, who will become a senior advisor to Vista Equity Partners. Kristin will remain closely aligned with Social Solutions, a Vista portfolio company, and will help support the continued success of the company. Kristin has served as CEO of Social Solutions since 2016. During her tenure, the company has undergone significant growth and transformation, including doubling its revenue and extending its reach as the clear market-leader for case management, outcomes and data-driven leadership in the nonprofit tech sector. In 2018, Kristin led Social Solutions into a strategic alliance with Ballmer Group –  the philanthropic organization co-founded by Connie and Steve Ballmer – where the two organizations committed to a $59 million partnership to ensure that at-risk schoolchildren receive the social services they need. Kristin’s tenure as CEO of Social Solutions marks her second successful leadership role with Vista, having previously served as CEO of MicroEdge.
