Developing a mentoring program is one of the surefire ways of reaching out to at-risk youth who need some guidance in developing the skills necessary to become productive citizens in society, but how can an organization know that its efforts are actually making a difference?
That was the questioned faced by the Latin American Youth Center (LAYC) as they set out to improve the lives of youth in their community.
This organization realized the size of the task in front of it and sought to not only make the job of helping young people manageable, but make sure that the efforts they made to improve the lives of those youth were adequately kept track of so that the impact of those efforts could measured.
