Position Summary:
Configure and demonstrate all ETO software product offerings. Train administrators and end-users both onsite and online. Gather requirements, configure and train on reporting. Serve as technical co-lead on major client projects. Serve as project manager on reporting, data migration and technical consulting projects.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivilent experience in a related field
- 3+ years of database administration or related professional experience
- 3+ years of experience gathering report requirements and developing reports in Excel, WebIntelligence, and/or Crystal.
- 2+years of experience conducting end user trainings.
- 2+ years of managing project timelines and budgets
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 3 days per week anywhere in the United States and Canada to connect with customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong hardware and software computer skills
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
- Maintain open and professional communications with Social Solutions’ supervisors, colleagues, partners, clients and vendors to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and business efficiency
- Strong knowledge of Excel, including macros/advanced tools
- Working knowledge of SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
- Non-profit experience and/or understanding of how non-profits function a plus
- ETO software experience preferred
Specific Position Duties:
- Configure ETO software based on the technical specifications described in ETO software Blueprints
- Conduct both on-line and on-site trainings for end-users of the software as well as customized administrator trainings
- Gather client specifications for reports
- Develop front-end queries and reports
- Prepare data for migration and use upload tools to populate client’s customized software
- Serve as a co-lead on major client projects, working alongside project manager
- Act in a project manager role for technical consulting projects, managing client relationships, budgets and schedules
- Make product enhancement requests based on common themes
