Technical Services Associate


Position Summary:

Configure and demonstrate all ETO software product offerings. Train administrators and end-users both onsite and online. Gather requirements, configure and train on reporting. Serve as technical co-lead on major client projects. Serve as project manager on reporting, data migration and technical consulting projects.

Minimum Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivilent experience in a related field
  • 3+ years of database administration or related professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience gathering report requirements and developing reports in Excel, WebIntelligence, and/or Crystal.
  • 2+years of experience conducting end user trainings.
  • 2+ years of managing project timelines and budgets
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 3 days per week anywhere in the United States and Canada to connect with customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong hardware and software computer skills
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain open and professional communications with Social Solutions’ supervisors, colleagues, partners, clients and vendors to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and business efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, including macros/advanced tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Non-profit experience and/or understanding of how non-profits function a plus
  • ETO software experience preferred

Specific Position Duties:

  • Configure ETO software based on the technical specifications described in ETO software Blueprints
  • Conduct both on-line and on-site trainings for end-users of the software as well as customized administrator trainings
  • Gather client specifications for reports
  • Develop front-end queries and reports
  • Prepare data for migration and use upload tools to populate client’s customized software
  • Serve as a co-lead on major client projects, working alongside project manager
  • Act in a project manager role for technical consulting projects, managing client relationships, budgets and schedules
  • Make product enhancement requests based on common themes
