Social Solutions is looking for Regional Sales Directors

Social Solutions provides the opportunity to take advantage of the growing concern of government officials, foundation executives, and individual donors for more effective philanthropy. Funders are beginning to move away from allocating financial resources based solely on heartwarming stories, brand recognition, and low overhead expense. Instead, funders are demanding evidence of the results of an organization’s efforts as well as gaining an understanding of an organization’s ability to deliver future results. This requires a performance management system and Social Solutions is the leading provider of performance and case management solutions for human service organizations.

Position Overview:

We are offering unique opportunities for individuals interested in leveraging their experience in contributing to our explosive growth (50% bookings increase over 2009). We are looking to add established professionals to our Regional Sales team to drive the acquisition of new clients.

The RSD role will be a highly demanding and rewarding opportunity that can be based in New York, Baltimore, Chicago, Seattle or Denver

Responsibilities:

  • New Sales Lead Development-Cold Calling Prospects
  • Develop leads through networking in professional organizations, attending conferences, and community involvement
  • Respond to inbound leads from prospect agencies that have annual operating budgets greater than $5M in your territory
  • Close deals each Month (expected to close 2-3 opportunities per month)
  • Properly document in NetSuite all calls and deal activity on a daily basis
  • Maintain Pipeline levels and accurately forecast sales activity-Looking for Plan + performers!
  • Manage the entire sales cycle including mission critical needs analysis, designing client value proposition and working with Solutions Engineers to formulate solution

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Demonstrated 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills
  • Demonstrated pipeline management and a history of goal achievement
  • Knowledge of the human service sector
  • Technological acumen and understanding of relational database structure or CRM applications
  • Utilize existing network within human services sector for immediate development
  • Willingness to travel – up to 25%
