Location: Baltimore, MD

The Business Analyst position is responsible for documentation and gathering of requirements for both custom development as well as product enhancements. The business analyst understands the customer’s business requirements and processes, and then translates them to particular software requirements

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business goals and needs
• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for both custom development and product enhancements
• Assist development in understanding requirements and review of their designs and mock-ups for compliance with the requirements.
• Assist with the prioritization of development projects and tasks for each sprint
• Effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements
• Develop the user acceptance testing criteria for new feature requirements
• Participate with various internal and external resources to identify requirements for new projects
• Participate in development design meetings to ensure requirements are met
• Participate in QA testing to ensure requirements are met
• Participate with the support team to ensure documentation is properly updated with each product release

• Deep understanding of ETO or ability to learn; Will be required to pass ETO certification if not currently certified.  Experience testing other user based system such as a CRM system would also be useful if there is no experience with ETO
• Understanding of IT and accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Works under general supervision
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
• An Associate’s Degree with 2 years of related professional experience or three (3) years of directly related professional experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree requirement
• Strong initiative and ability to self-direct
• Ability to work on multiple projects
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
