The federal Promise Neighborhoods initiative will help transform 20 distressed communities around the United States. The Promise Neighborhoods program allocates federal funding to fight the effects of poverty thought the collaborative efforts of many community agencies.
Social Solutions is a vocal and committed proponent of such collaborative, coordinated models. For nearly a decade, we have been helping organizations and agencies leverage data to improve the effectiveness of their services with our Efforts to Outcomes (ETO™) software.
A critical ingredient to winning Promise Neighborhood funding rests in demonstrating the ongoing ability to analyze, report, and share child and youth outcomes data between collaborative partners, leadership, and members of the community. In addition to collaborative data collection and sharing, ETO software will help applicants to the Promise Neighborhoods program fulfill a variety of other requirements outlined in the federal Request for Proposals:
- Provide a continuum of linked and seamlessly integrated youth services
- Quickly identify and correct service gaps
- Promote continuous program improvement with rapid-time data in both the planning year and in Promise Neighborhood implementation.
- Conduct advanced segmentation analysis by demographic and geography
- Plan, build, adapt, and expand a longitudinal data system that measures diverse academic , family and community support indicators for all children in the neighborhood
- Link the longitudinal data system to school-based, local education authority, and State data systems.
- Make data accessible to program partners, researchers, and evaluators legally and securely
