A logic model shows the steps that an organization will take, and the resources that an organization will apply toward achieving a goal, but at a slightly more practical level. While the theory of change typically applies to the entire organization, a logic model is often applied to an individual program, such as one designed to educate or house or assist a target audience, and a more intermediate set of goals. The logic model shows the specific inputs, outputs, and outcomes of a program, and shows exactly how the needs of the participants will be addressed by the program.
